Mick Layton

Mick focuses on evaluating and executing new investments and supporting ongoing portfolio company initiatives. He brings experience from a diverse set of industries, including manufacturing, building products, rubber and plastics and aerospace and defense.

Prior to joining Cyprium, Mick was an Associate at CORE Industrial Partners, where he supported transaction structuring, acquisition financing, investment thesis development and portfolio company initiatives. Previously, he was an Associate at CW Industrial Partners and an Investment Banking Analyst in the Financial Institutions Group at Stephens. Mick began his career at KPMG as a Real Estate Tax Associate.

Mick holds an MS in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame and a BS in Finance from Saint Louis University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) in Illinois.

Outside of work, Mick enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf and following St. Louis and Cleveland sports. He lives in Shaker Heights with his wife and daughter.
